A suit being admitted into the civil court has once again triggered off PK's 'nude' controversy. The plaintiff has framed charges against
Aamir Khan primarily, contrasting his 'inappropriate' poster with the pristine image he dons on his popular show Satyamev Jayate. Aamir, on multiple occasions has stated that he,
Vidhu Vinod Chopra and
Rajkumar Hirani aren't the kind of people who would resort of such sensational mores to market their film.
Aamir refutes the allegations of being obscene with reason and explains,"It is essential that we remain honest to our work and to our material at hand. Judging the poster in isolation is not correct. When seen in a film context, they will understand the scene better. I think we are capable enough to withstand any adverse response that may arise."

3 Idiots where the kissing scene between him and Kareena could have been missed during promotions. Aamir says, "We aren't the kind of artists who believe in shedding our clothes to be sensational. Neither do we believe in such gimmicks to market our film. In
3 Idiots, one of the final shots is of Kareena kissing me which we hadn't used in the marketing phase at all. We don't believe in adding spice to our publicity by stooping low. The kissing shot in
3 Idiots was irrelevant to the plot of the film but the nude shot in
PK is relevant and integral to its story. I don't understand what's the big deal? If you see carefully, people wear shorter trunks when they go swimming."
PK starring Aamir along with
Sanjay Dutt,
Anushka Sharma and
Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to release on December 19, 2014.
